The company
This company is situated in the province of Gelderland and is a specialist in optimizing logistics in warehouse and supply chain processes. Team members work in different locations, also outside the Netherlands, which means they mostly work from home. They also meet now and then in the office.
Their products help to do complex warehouse processes more efficiently thanks to intelligent algorithms:
- Stacking products is a constant puzzle. Based on order data and product specifications the optimum stacking order can be achieved.
- An intelligent storage and order-picking system that minimizes the required storage room and maximizes the order-picking performance.
Optimizing these processes leads to an improvement in the productivity, an improvement in stacking of the products and a reduction in transport costs.
What will you do?
You will be working under the supervision of a mentor on several products within a team of developers. Because you work mainly from home, you give daily updates via online meetings to team members and receive feedback about the work you delivered.
Your main role is to implement new functionality to the software such as its User Interface and Backend services. Additionally you’re also in charge of solving bugs and issues presented in the system, while optimizing its performance to make sure it runs smoothly during production phase.
Also there’s work to be done on updating databases to make sure that the data obtained is up to date.
Additionally one of the senior programmers will take you along during a company visit so you get to know the client and understand their need better.

Job requirements
- BSc or MSc discipline Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
- Knowledge of C# and .NET version 8
- Self-motivated and able to work remotely
- Team player and work independently
- Affinity with frontend and backend
- Good communication skills in English. In Dutch is an advantage
