The company
This independent consultancy firm is strong in concrete, steel and wood constructions. They have two offices; one in South Holland and one in the province of Utrecht. With more than 40 years of experience, they are at the heart of the market. Their engineers think multidisciplinary with the client and architect to deliver the best construction choices for the entire project.
They mainly work with 3D-BIM, which allows the architect, constructor, installer and other parties to work in one common 3D model. This way they have continuous insight into each other’s design, which ensures open communication and good coordination between contractor and subcontractors.
The job
The office in the province of Utrecht wants to expand. It is currently a small and close team of civil engineers and they are in need of a Revit modeller.
Your colleagues will support you with the civil engineering aspects of the projects. For Revit related support, you are in daily contact with modellers from the other office in South Holland via TEAMS meetings.
You work on a variety of models and you are involved in every phase of the project, ranging from the first drawings all the way up to the final result. Projects are very divers; both small reconstructions and also large scale newbuilt housing and industrial buildings.
Clients expect the team to provide both solicited and unsolicited advice about points for improvement. The team therefore thinks along with all the parties involved and keeps a close eye on the quality and costs of projects; not only their own work, but also that of the other parties.
The great thing about this position is that you will gain knowledge of every aspect of construction; standards, rules, guidelines, regulations and developments within the field.
And certainly not unimportant, you will find yourself in a pleasant no-nonsense working atmosphere.
Job requirements
- HBO/WO, discipline Architecture, Civil Engineering
- Several years of work experience with Revit is a pré
- Knowledge of building regulations gained during your work
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Result oriented
- A proactive and flexible attitude
- Knowledge of the Dutch language on a B1 level is a big advantage
